ELIGIBILITY & INFORMATION

1. AGE CATEGORIES:
U-10, U-12, U-14, U-17; born after July 1, 1988, 1986, 1984, 1981 respectively; Seniors (40+), born before July 1, 1958.

2. TEAM EVENTS:
Open Team: open to all players;
Team "A" : Combined rating U-2200, Max. each U-900;
Team "B" : Combined rating U-1200, Max. each U-500;
Team “C” (Novice): with at least one girl or U-10.
Senior Team: Over 40, with at least one over 50.
Playing Format: 3-player team, A,B,C vs. X,Y,Z; (s.s.d.s.s);
A vs X; B vs Y; B/C (dl) vs X/Z (dl); A vs Y; C vs Z.

3. NOVICE EVENTS:
Open to players with U-250 rating; previous finalists in Provincial Junior Events and winners of novice events NOT eligible. Format:
Stage I: preliminary group round robin: all players divided into groups of 6 (play to 11 point-game only, best 2 out of 3 match)
Stage II: Novice A, B, C proper round, grouping based on results of stage I. (i.e. top 2 of each group to A, 3/4 to B, 5/6 to C) .
Novice “D”: for players U-10, not reaching to Finals in A, B & C.

4. Junior players must enter their OWN age group and may enter ONE higher group. Maximum of 4 individual and 2 teams/dbls events are allowed. Should not enter events with SAME starting time.

5. Latest available CTTA rating will be used at draw; Evaluation of un-rated players is at the discretion of Tournament Committee; Latest ITTF rules will govern all play for sanctioned events. All matches are best 2 out of 3 games except in Open Single’s Semi-final and Final, which are best 3 out of 5.

6. EQUIPMENT:
Stiga Elite/Expert Roller Tables, Stiga/Donic Nets and Nittaku 3-star orange balls.

7. UMPIRES:
Players required umpiring in round robin and the loser of elimination round umpiring the next match. The umpire is responsible to return the tournament ball and the match slip signed by the winner.

8. ENTRY FEES:
Team Events: $50 for teams “Open”, "A" ,”B”;
$30 for team “C” (novice team) and senior team.
Individual Events: $5 per player per event, plus rating fees for sanctioned events.
$5 late fee for entries after the draw; space availability subject to tournament committee.
Make Cheques payable to ECMCC.

MARCH 10, WEDNESDAY FOR ALL OTHER EVENTS.
